CHRISTMAS COMES TO SUNSET GAP FROM
LONG BEACH BY WAY OF NASHVILLE
When members of the Women’s Sewing Group
at the Presbyterian Church in Long Beach, Mississippi, were no longer
physically able to complete the Christmas stocking project they traditionally
send to Sunset Gap Community Center in East Tennessee, the Women’s
Mission Sewing Group at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Nashville
came to the rescue. A box of beautifully sewn Christmas stockings filled
with school supplies and toys was sent to the children at Sunset Gap
in time for Christmas 2002.
