Beautifully Simple

by Steve Young

Dear Sisters and Brothers of Living Waters for the World,

I would like to thank each of you for your interest and perseverance in taking clean water to our brothers and sisters in the world who might not otherwise have access to it. It is a good thing that you are doing. I have very much enjoyed being involved in the ministry of clean water for this past year and a half. The systems are smart, efficient, and beautifully simple. They serve well and faithfully.

Beth Peak,
former Mission Volunteer International,
Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico

The Holy Spirit’s work is in evidence within the Living Waters for the World project, which continues to expand, due in large part to the “beautifully simple” design of its water purification system. The system, which has been continuously improved upon over the course of several installations, is brought into destination countries literally in suitcases, bypassing expensive, slow and undependable shipping alternatives.

The latest installation of this beautifully simple system occurred June 13-20. Partnership development trips have been recently completed to Brazil, Guatemala and Haiti, with great need and potential evident in all locations. Living Waters for the World’s next installation will take place August 1-6, in Cuch Holoch, Mexico, led by the Hispanic Ministry Task Force of North Alabama Presbytery.
