Twelve presbytery executives presented Doreen Scott
with a handmade king-size quilt in the Texas Star pattern as a sign
of their gratitude for her help over the fourteen years she has
been administrative assistant for the Synod of Living Waters. |

Nolan Waller, Moderator of the Synod in 2003, became
moderator of the Executive Committee at this meeting. Flowers in the
sanctuary were dedicated to the Glory of God and in honor of Nolan
Waller by his Sunday School Class. |

Doreen Scott, at right, appears to be happy to
pass along the Synod Meeting notebook to Emily Clarke,
the new administrative assistant, and Emily seems to be ready to begin
her new assignment. |

Rita Cochrane was one of many Synod commissioners
and visitors who attended the book signing at Square Books in Oxford
for Ray Waddle, Voice columnist, whose book, “A
Turbulent Peace”, was published recently. |
