Author Loren Mead to Speak

Loren Mead, author of Meltdown Of The Mainline Churches and ten other books, is the keynote speaker for the Fourth Annual Tennessee Valley Foundation Fundraising Institute to be held on Friday, August 20, at the Chattanooga Trade Center. Mead will also speak on annual stewardship campaigns for today’s churches. A pioneer in congregational studies, Mead, an ordained Episcopal priest, brought together the methods of organizational development consultation and applied research for working with congregations. He has published four best-selling books on the future of the church.
