Living Waters for the World
Schedules Two Spring Training Sessions
Living Waters for
the World is offering two sessions of Clean Water U, March 9-13
and April 13-17. Located deep in the woods of Hopewell Camp and Conference
Center outside of Oxford, Mississippi, Clean Water U (CWU) is a simulation
experience designed to equip mission teams with the skills necessary to
form partnerships with communities in need of clean water, install the
Living Waters for the World water purification system and equip local
leaders to lead ongoing health, hygiene and spiritual education.

These learning objectives are taught in three separate
courses which run concurrently during the four-day session. Typically
a mission group sends three or more representatives to ensure that all
courses are covered (total cost per student: $300).
Graduates of CWU then serve as their mission group’s
team leaders in subsequent water-focused mission trips. All system parts,
curriculum and related materials necessary for successful completion of
these trips are available to CWU graduates via the organization’s
fulfillment center, based in Louisville, KY.
Mission groups, in conjunction with Living Waters
for the World, installed a record eleven purification systems in 2004,
largely due to the train-the-trainer impact of the CWU program.
CWU is open to all who have a desire to help those
in need of clean water. Churches without an existing mission partner may
begin the process of establishing a partnership by contacting Living Waters
for the World.
Space is still available for the spring CWU sessions.
