Auburn PSF Eases Transition

Hi! My name is Randall Mummert. I am currently a student at Auburn University and just completed my freshman year. I am very excited to be home but will definitely miss Auburn this summer. The place I will miss most though is my church there. I began attending First Presbyterian of Auburn at the beginning of the year. I not only attended church services, but the Sunday night and Thursday Night Gatherings held by the Presbyterian Student Fellowship(PSF). I immediately fell in love with PSF and the people involved.

I will admit that throughout the semester I thought about returning home and attending a college around there because I was so homesick. If it had not been for the fellowship, friends, and worship times at PSF, I would no longer be a student at Auburn University. I think that PSF is a great place for college students. We spent a lot of time together just having fun, but also time worshiping together. Without that time to get away from the pressures of school, I know I would have been back home. College is a hard transition time for everyone in different ways, but PSF can definitely make the transition a whole lot easier.
