In May the final editing of a new promotional video for Living Waters for the World (LWW) was completed. Titled Clean Water for All God's Children, the video is 21 minutes long.

Filming by Bluesky Filmworks began last October at Clean Water U. Filming continued with interviews in the offices over the winter. The final segments of film were done onsite in the Yucatan in April.

The crew consisted of Bluesky Filmworks co-owner, Brad Van Demark and soundman, Steve LePard. They traveled with LWW administrator Steve Young to the coastal city of Campeche to do the filming.

While there, the crew filmed the installation of a water system at Monte Moriah Presbyterian Church in the Campeche neighborhood of Grajas.

Featured in the video will be well known LWW leaders such as Joanie Lukins and Bill Williams, along with founder and director Wil Howie and administrator Steve Young. Filmed on location in Campeche was Pastor Carlos Mac-Gregor who has been instrumental in the tremendous growth of LWW in the Presbyterian church in the Yucatan.

A few of the sites visited while filming include the small rural village of Xkeulil where the Presbyterian church houses a system. The Peewee Valley Presbyterian Church from Mid-Kentucky Presbytery installed this system. Also featured is the system at the Lerma church, Filadelfia Temple de la Iglesia, where Carlos Mac-Gregor is pastor.

A major focus of the filming in Mexico was the installation site at Monte Moriah church. This is the 126th installation for LWW. The group overseeing this installation was from Transylvania Presbytery, which has a long history of mission in the Yucatan. Members of the team from Transylvania included Joanie Lukins and Karl Benson who have been coming to the Yucatan with the Danville church since before the first LWW installation. Also working with the team were Susan Bradish, and Bill Reed from the Chapel Hill, KY church; Bill and Dorothy Sagar, Danville and Bill Harney from Millersburg.

LWW is well established and continuing to grow in the Yucatan. US churches work in partnership with the Synod of the Peninsula of the National Presbyterian Church of Mexico. This partnership is well organized and thriving.

The new video made its premier Friday evening, June 8 at the Presbyterian Women synod gathering in Franklin, TN. This gathering was chosen for the premier because of the instrumental support LWW has received from the PW over the years. The efforts of the Synod of Living Waters PW helped LWW win the Birthday Offering grant for 2007.

To order a copy of the video go to the LWW ordering website. Distribution begins July 9.
