Members of First Presbyterian Church, Huntsville, Alabama, came to Columbia Theological Seminary in April for the annual Come See Columbia Day. The day is sponsored by the seminary and by Columbia Friendship Circle, an organization which supports the work of the seminary through prayer and funding. Columbia Friendship Circle encompasses all Presbyterian Women from the Synods of Living Waters and South Atlantic. On the first row are three presidents of Columbia Friendship Circle, all from First Presbyterian Church: Lucile Adams, Harriet Bibb, and Janel Bates. Harriet Bibb is current president. The next Come See Columbia Day is April 18, 2002.
Linda McArthur, at left, and Barbara Sandford, co-chairs of the General Assembly's Committee on Local Arrangements, were recognized at a Saturday morning plenary session of the Assembly, along with members of their committee, for a job beautifully and competently done.

Wil Howie, at left, and George Hoge were among those representing the Living Waters for the World project when an award was presented for the project by Presbyterians for Restoring Creation at their luncheon during the recent General Assembly meeting.
Gary Bullard, pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Kingsport, Tennessee, and chair of the Synod's Living Waters for the World committee, was elected chair of the General Assembly Nominating Committee during the 213th General Assembly meeting in Louisville.
