Robert Wilson

Wilson Leads Presbyterian Men

Robert E. (Bob) Wilson was installed as president of the National Council of Presbyterian Men on April 28, 2001, at the group’s annual meeting in Germantown, Tennessee. He will serve a two-year term.

Bob has been involved in some type of men’s ministry since he became a Presbyterian in 1963. He has served as an elder at Fellowship Presbyterian Church in Huntsville, Alabama; president of the local men’s group; as commissioner to the Synod of Living Waters and North Alabama Presbytery.

He recently completed three terms as secretary/treasurer of the North Alabama Presbytery Men’s Council and was recognized as their first “Churchman of the Year” with an award in January 2001.

Bob is married to Dr. Patricia Wilson, professor at Alabama A&M University. They make their home in Madison, Alabama. They have two sons and four grandchildren.

Bob’s motto is: “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.” As president, Bob knows he will have many challenges and opportunities when he will need the power of Christ to strengthen him.
