The Christmas Play with the Crazy Name is Back!For years, Bunbury Theater in Louisville has delighted audiences with its rendition of William Gibson's holiday play, The Butterfingers Angel, Mary and Joseph, Herod the Nut, and the Slaughter of Twelve Hit Carols in a Pear Tree. This year, the tradition continues with another production that is both reverent and hilarious. This remarkably human version of the Christmas Story both moves and amuses as it unfolds the message: It is love that redeems us from our sense of futility and hopelessness. The production opened on November 29 and runs Wednesdays-Sundays through December 16.
