Korean Pastors' Seminar
Held in Franklin November 26–28
The pastors' seminar of the Korean Presbyterian
Council, the Synod of Living Waters, was held at the Sleep Inn, Franklin,
TN, November 26-28, 2001. The theme of the seminar was Christian Spirituality,
and the text was Thirsty for God, A Brief History of Christian Spirituality
by Bradley P. Holt. Each pastor gave oral presentations with a written
report and discussed the contents in detail, followed by general discussions.
The opening worship service was done with the sermon
of Rev. Dan Park, the moderator of K.P.C., Synod of Living Waters, on
John 21:15-17, titled "Do you truly love me?"
Some of the highlights were to share each church's
special unique activities and programs, and to share the spouses' ideas
and opinions for the better development of the church mission. Each
pastor also recommended certain books to read. One evening, the group
played a sport as fellowship, called "Jocko", a version of
volleyball played by feet, rather than hands.
It was truly a good seminar to attend and the Holy
Spirit blessed each of us. We always thank the Synod of Living Waters
for their support and guidance.
