"Alive! By the Breath of God"A.P.C.E. 2002The national convention of the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators will be meeting in Toronto, Ontario this year! The outstanding multi-national plenary and worship leaders will be Dr. Herbert O'Driscoll, respected television and radio personality, and Rev. Marion Barclay, APCE 2002 Educator of the Year. Rev. John Bell, music leader of the Iona Community of Scotland, will lead the singing with his own inclusive brand of ecumenical music. Barbara Ann Keely and Bill Ramsay will teach Human Development and Biblical Interpretation, respectively, for educator certification contact hours. The workshops are outstanding and there will be plenty of information forthcoming from Louisville regarding curriculum suggestions. The setting will be the luxurious Sheraton Centre Hotel where you do not ever have to leave the building to enjoy blocks of first-class shopping and eating establishments. The off-site offerings include a trip to the Royal Ontario Museum, and you will be surprised at how far American dollars will stretch right across the border. Don't hesitate!
